PhD student Md Abu Jafar Sujan Presents Neonatal Outcomes from BEFORE THE BEGINNING at Cambridge Networking Event

PhD student Md Abu Jafar Sujan presented a poster on the neonatal outcomes of the BEFORE THE BEGINNING trial at the Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy-Cambridge Networking Event: Maternal-Fetal Interactions in Health and Disease held at Cambridge University.

This event brought together early-career scientists and leading researchers to discuss key topics like maternal-fetal interactions, complications of obesity/gestational diabetes, breast milk research, and pre-pregnancy/postpartum health and intervention strategies.

The poster on neonatal outcomes of the BEFORE THE BEGINNING preconception lifestyle intervention in women at risk of gestational diabetes received accolades and suggestions from leading researchers in the field. The idea of a future collaboration project was also proposed with researchers from Denmark and England.

The event was an amazing opportunity for Jafar to exchange ideas, build new friendships, and foster future international collaborations.

Stay tuned for more updates on our research initiatives.
